The list of the materials, supplies, and equipment needed for the MANGGYAN Medical Mission 2009 is not yet final. But the wish list would somehow give you an idea what materials, supplies, and equipment do we need on April 3-6, 2009 in Pandan, Antique, Philippines.

Painting Exhibit for the benefit of the MANGGYAN Medical Mission

Manix Genabe, an artist and a friend of the MANGGYAN volunteers will be having his Fourth (4th) Painting Exhibit entitled Journey: A Celebration of 27 years of Existence from February 28, 2009 to March 19, 2009 at the PABLO GALLERY, Space 7 Marikina Shoe Expo, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines.

In support of the fundraising projects of the MANGGYAN volunteers, ten percent (10%) of the proceeds from this exhibit will benefit the missions of the MANGGYAN organization especially that there will be a MANGGYAN medical-surgical-dental mission on April 3-6, 2009 in Pandan, Antique, Philippines.

MANGGYAN Medical-Surgical-Dental Mission 2009 in Pandan, Antique

MANGGYAN (Manggagamot ng Bayan) volunteers of the Makati Medical Center, a group of healthcare professionals from different specialties will be conducting a free medical-surgical-dental mission codenamed Operasyon LBM for Labi (harelip), Bukol (tumors), Mata (cataract and other eye diseases) on April 3-6, 2009 at the Justice Calixto Zaldivar Memorial Hospital in Pandan, Antique, Philippines.

MANGGYAN volunteers in cooperation with PAGTATAP Foundation (Pagtatap Philippines, Pagtatap USA, Pagtatap Youth) and several other individuals, organizations, companies like Philippine Airlines (PAL), and the Local Government Unit of Pandan (LGU Pandan) are doing these healthcare services for free to the poor residents and indigents of Pandan, Antique and its neighboring towns such as Libertad, Sebaste, Culasi in Antique, and Ibajay, Nabas, Buruanga, and Malay in Aklan.

“Antiqueño Bulig Antique” Original Kinaray-a Music Live Band Concert and Patadyong Fashion Show

The Provincial Government of Antique, Philippines is spearheading a concert-show as a fundraising-project for the victims of the Typhoon Frank which devastated almost the entire island of Panay in the Visayas region. Antique was one of the provinces that was heavily hit by the Typhoon Frank on June 21, 2008.

The event “Antiqueño Bulig Antique” Original Kinaray-a Music Live Band Concert and Patadyong Fashion Show Project will be held on October 17, 2008, Friday at 6:00 PM at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City, Philippines.

MANGGYAN Medical Mission 2008 in Pandan, Antique

MANGGYAN (Manggagamot ng Bayan) volunteers of the Makati Medical Center will be conducting a free medical-surgical-dental mission on April 7-9, 2008 in Pandan, Antique, Philippines.

PAGTATAP Foundation (PAGTATAP Philippines, PAGTATAP USA, PAGTATAP Youth) and the MANGGYAN volunteers in cooperation with several other individuals, organizations, and companies are making this medical mission possible for the less privileged people of Pandan, Antique and its neighboring towns.
