Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings of peace!

For more than 2 decades, it has been a yearly tradition for MANGGYAN or Manggagamot Ng Bayan, a group of healthcare professionals from different specialties to visit Pandan, Antique and render free healthcare to its people. Since 1986, Dr. Robert Peter Alojipan, a son of Pandan, Antique has assembled a group of surgeons, internists, pediatricians, obstetricians & gynecologists, psychiatrists & neurologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, pathologists, dentists, and nurses from Makati Medical Center who have been sharing their time and expertise.

During our last mission, with the help of generous people, companies and institutions like yourself, Pandan, Antique was touched by the healing hands and hearts of over 40 dedicated doctors.

This April 11-13, 2012, we will be upholding the tradition of our continued service through a medical-surgical-dental mission, with programs such as Operasyon: LBM or Labi, Bukol, Mata to be held at the Justice Calixto Zaldivar Memorial Hospital.

On our previous mission in 2011, we were able to service a total of 2,623 cases from the different departments of general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, dermatology, internal medicine, obstetrics, dental and pathology.

For this year, we are expecting 1,000 patients each day for three days, many of whom will be traveling from great distances. Although the mission will be based in Pandan, where 34 barangays will be served, we will also be serving residents of seven other towns, namely Sebaste, Culasi, and Libertad in Antique and Ibajay, Nabas, Buruanga, and Malay in Aklan.

In this light, we invite you to be our partner and touch 3,000 lives as we embark on our mission this coming April 2012.

We would like to request for your assistance through monetary donations, or in any other form for that matter (such as drugs, medical supplies and equipment) which will be of great help in the said mission. We would be very grateful for any help that you could provide.
We look forward to your favorable response so that together we may succeed in our mission to serve our fellow Filipinos in great need. It is our hope that this will be the beginning of a partnership that will grow stronger in the years to come.

Thank you very much for your time.

With you in service,

Mitzi Alojipan
MANGGYAN Mission Coordinator
